Amy Jephta
Amy Jephta began her career as a playwright and has held residencies at the Royal Court Theatre, the Lincoln Theater Directors Lab and the Orchard Project Episodic Lab. Her feature film, Ellen, premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam and was South Africa's official submission to the 2018 Golden Globes Foreign Language Film category. In 2017, her writing was directed by Danny Boyle and performed by James McAvoy at Carnegie Hall as part of The Children's Monologues.
