Carrie Anderson

Carrie Anderson is an Aussie who had a career in global studies that included gaining a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University in NYC, working for a think tank in D.C. and postings to various corners of the world. When she could no longer ignore the yearning she had to share powerful stories that would resonate across borders, she completed a graduate diploma in screenwriting at Australia’s national film school where she won the Kenneth B. Myer Prize for Exceptional Talent. Since then, she has been developing her own slate of series and features – the first of which, RIOT, was aired on ABC Australia in 2018 and won Best Mini-series or Telefeature at the AACTA, Australia’s Emmy’s. Her series in development include a psychological thriller set in a remote New York town and a political drama based on real people and events in D.C. in the 1980s, as well as a feature based on a heart-warming true story of social justice set in Philadelphia.
