Dawn Smith grew up without a television and has been obsessed with it ever since. She got her degree in studio art from University California Irvine, interned at Media Process Group in Chicago, and worked as an associate producer producing political ads for various Democrats at AKPD Message and Media, formerly Axelrod and Associates. She works as a freelance writer, director and producer, and her web series ‘Paid for By’ had a successful festival run in 2018.
