Emily Harper and Laura Kittrell

Emily Harper (Left) grew up in Chicago and was voted Interlochen Arts Academy’s “Student of the Month” in February of 2004. She began her career as a live TV producer for MTV, ABC, Comedy Central and others, and her favorite memories after 8 MTV Video Music Awards all have to do with Beyoncé. In 2016 she was a consultant for Hillary Clinton’s campaign and still remembers the Democratic National Convention fondly.

Laura Kittrell (Right) is from Meridian, Mississippi, where she was voted “Employee of the Month” at United Artists Bonita Lakes 9 Cinema in January of 2004. She is currently co-writing the limited series The Dolls starring and produced by Issa Rae and Laura Dern for HBO. She is also a writer/producer on HBO's Insecure and has previously written on Showtime's Black Monday, ABC's Downward Dog, and FX's The Comedians.

Besides Drag Heist, Emily and Laura are developing an animated feature about the afterlife, as well as a teen horror film. They both graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and live in West Hollywood with their cats Hannah and Riley.
