Justin Calen-Chenn and Stephen Love

With one hailing from the streets and one hailing from the country, Justin Calen-Chenn (Right) and Stephen "Dr" Love (Left) are a creative team whose distinctive point of view informs what and how they create. Having been homeless as a teenager, Justin's POV comes from years spent in a wildly violent, socially tragic, and equally colorful underworld and culture that drove him to writing after the brutal death of a friend in 2016. After being introduced to the town by way of his African-American gang thriller spec, METAL & DUST, Justin went on to write for notables such as Justin Lin, Dark Castle, Michelle Yeoh, XYZ Films, Matt Jackson, and Sherry Marsh (Pose). He was featured on the 2018 Young & Hungry List.

Stephen's “country boy with big city hustle” perspective came from his upbringing selling peaches before attending Morehouse College and USC’s Stark program. He went on to produce THE LAND, directed by Steven Caple Jr (CREED 2). After which, he produced an Emmy-winning commercial, started Made with Love Media (Film/TV), co-founded The Invisible Collective (Advertising), and set up two studio movies in 2019 as a producer.
