Krista Braun and Patrick Hayle
Krista’s road much-less-traveled to Imagine Impact began in the ‘burbs of Cleveland, Ohio. Mom and Dad weren’t ready (yet) to bless a move to NYC, so Krista headed (slightly) west to the University of Michigan for a Theatre Performance BFA. A semester-early graduation prompted a gig on a very pre-Marvel Russo Brothers film, followed by singer/dancer contracts on two Holland America cruise ships. From there: NYC (at last!!), a recurring guest spot on ABC’s THE MIDDLE, a master’s in Business and Financial Reporting from NYU, to CNBC as a producer, several more guest star roles (SVU, F.B.I., CHICAGO PD…), and 20-some episodes of GOTHAM as an unnamed reporter who finally got a name (Jennifer Luree!). This latest adventure is made possible with the support of the coolest husband and son a gal could get. Favorite quote: “Roads? Where we’re going, we don’t need... roads.”
Patrick Hayle grew up outside Detroit on a heavy diet of Saturday morning cartoons, Batman graphic novels, and 80’s alt rock. Since graduating from Marquette University with degrees in broadcast communications and theatre arts, he’s worked in Milwaukee, Chicago, and L.A. as a lighting designer, actor, ad copy writer, and content developer at a renowned children's museum. His first feature, a dystopian adaptation of MACBETH, was one of three finalists in Script Pipeline’s First Look competition. Subsequent projects have placed highly with the PAGE awards, WeScreenplay, BlueCat, and the Writers Assistant Network. He recently nabbed the top prize for his world-building skills from the toughest judge of all: his four-year-old. The raw materials: LEGOs.
