Laura Ramadei and Kate Dearing
Laura Ramadei is a performer, writer and producer in tv/film, theater, and new media. She’s Producing Director and Founder of Lesser America, and the Director of Creative Development for the American Playwriting Foundation, created in honor of her former mentor, Philip Seymour Hoffman. Ramadei performed in a digital series called Unicornland about nonmonogamy, that was featured in Vice, Rollingstone, Huffington Post, Out and NPR’s “All Things Considered” among others. She also hosts the comedy podcast Girls on P*rn, distributed by Headgum.
Kate Dearing is a creator/writer/actor in tv, film, and new media. Her debut series, WOMAN OF A CERTAIN AGE , premiered at Tribeca Film Festival in 2017 and went on to win both the Industry “Best of Fest” and the Audience Award at the Women in Comedy Festival in 2018, the Best Comedy Award at Post Alley Film Festival 2018, and the Best TV/Web Episode Award at Willifest 2018. As an actor, she has worked on numerous series including HIGH MAINTENANCE, GOOD NEIGHBOR PRESENTS, and THE OUTS. Even though talking about it makes everyone sad, Kate is still proud to have co-created National Pantsuit Day, a national holiday founded ahead of the 2016 election dedicated to celebrating women everywhere who are working to break the glass ceiling. The day garnered over 30M+ media impressions from 15+ publications. Finally, Kate is a founding member and co-president of the intersectional, feminist, progressive action group, Women To The Front.
