Lynda Heys and Steve Turnbull

Lynda Heys (left) and Steve Turnbull (right) are an Australian director/writer team and partners in Faraway Films Entertainment (FFE). Lynda is a USC Peter Stark alumni with a passion for stories that are empowering, entertaining and exceedingly binge-worthy. A Deakin University grad, Steve has written across genres from dramas, to comedies through to a recent omnibus WW1/post-apocalyptic graphic novel adaptation for a major US entertainment company. FFE’s current slate of features and high-end limited drama series includes a new three-pic deal to develop the ‘female-centric’ novels of US author, Ki Longfellow and TACKLING ROMEO, the team’s feel-good comedy/dance feature, that is now in late-stage financing for a US remake and Broadway stage musical.
