M.D. Walton

M.D. Walton is originally from Schenectady, New York currently living in Los Angeles. M.D. has been a trending writer on THE BLACKLIST for his feature screenplay MICHAEL and currently is a FINALIST in the 2019 WeScreenPlay One Hour TV Pilot Contest for his Impact 3 project entitled IDENTITY. Among his credits, one notable he’s particularly proud of is his award winning short film entitled The Championship Rounds starring Rutina Wesley, Harold Perrineau, Larry Gilliard Jr, and deaf actor Michael Anthony Spady. The feature film version of The Championship Rounds, currently entitled MICHAEL, has Golden Globe/Emmy Winning director Anthony Hemingway attached to direct and produce alongside Skyscope Pictures, a production company M.D. co -founded. Skyscope has a slate of projects in development. As an actor in theater/film/television, he’s also had the opportunity over the years to work with some amazing artists such as Joe Mantello, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Joe Morton, Adam Sandler, and many more. M.D.’s mission as a storyteller is to be a vessel that brings untold stories to the forefront that can help create awareness, change the narrative and impact younger generations to come. His proudest accomplishment is being a dad and husband.
