Monisha Dadlani, a graduate of USC's B.F.A. Acting program, was born and raised in New York City. She began her writing pursuits in middle school with a play titled "You Ate My Hat." Yes, it had a theme song. In college, she produced her first feature film, which taught her to never film when cicadas decide to emerge from their seventeen-year hibernation. Monisha is currently a writer, actress, and filmmaker based in Los Angeles.
