Philip Tarl Denson

A screenwriter based in Darwin, Australia, Philip has optioned several original screenplays and and has a number of feature film and television projects in development including a project with INTREPID PICTURES based on his original theatre piece. Philip's first feature film script, LUCID, won the NT Literary Award for Screenwriting, was a finalist in the JOHN HINDE award for Science Fiction, finalist in the BlueCat Screenplay competition, finalist in the Fresh Voices Screenplay competition, quarter-finalist in the Nicholl Fellowship screenwriting contest and finalist in the 2017 GATEWAY LA ‘Aussie List’ of the best unproduced scripts by Australian writers. With a background in physics and theatre, Phil's screenwriting borders on science and speculative fiction.
