Selena Lane grew up outside of Boston, went to school in St. Louis, and currently lives in Los Angles (Hawaii is next). After making a promise to herself to absolutely not pursue performance and writing, she went on to study Drama at Washington University in St. Louis, study improv with iO Chicago, Improvised Shakespeare, UCB, and The Groundlings, and... pursue writing. Her short film "Giveaway", starring Jay Ellis (Top Gun, Insecure), premiered at the 2018 Hollyshorts Film Festival, and her writing has been recognized by the Page International Screenwriting Awards, Austin Film Festival, and the Audience Awards.
