Michele Mulroney
Michele Mulroney is an LA-based screenwriter and director, who works in partnership with her husband, Kieran Mulroney. She’s a graduate of the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, where she studied directing.
Michele is a Fellow of the Sundance Writers and Directors Labs, where she developed the feature film, PAPER MAN, starring Jeff Daniels, Ryan Reynolds, Emma Stone and Lisa Kudrow. PAPER MAN was the opening night film at both the Los Angeles Film Festival and the Orlando International Film Festival.
The Mulroneys were responsible for the frequently-blogged-about, on-again/off-again fanboy favorite, JUSTICE LEAGUE: MORTAL for director George Miller.
They penned the sequel, SHERLOCK HOLMES: A GAME OF SHADOWS, starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law and POWER RANGERS for Lionsgate.
Michele co-wrote (and co-starred in!) the movie musical SUNNY & SHARE LOVE YOU, which won the Best Soundtrack Award at Outfest.
She is currently working on a biopic of Chinese classical pianist, Lang Lang for Imagine Entertainment, WAR OF GODS for Paramount, a limited series THE NOWHERE GIRLS for Amazon, and her next co-directing project, the feature film FOX HILLS.
Michele mentors writers at Sundance and Outfest and teaches at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles.
She serves on the board of the Writers Guild of America and is Board President of LA’s ManifestWorks, an organization that trains people impacted by incarceration, homelessness and foster care to become production assistants in the entertainment industry.
